A Corpus-based Pronunciation Teaching Model: A Conceptual Paper

Learning a second language is challenging, but mastering pronunciation even more difficult. Researchers continuously seek new ways to improve students’ English abilities, such as listening and speaking, while ignoring the importance of pronunciation. After conducting literature review, this article investigates impact corpora two instructional methods on improving The paper addresses how teach effectively in context language. According corpus resources, critical listening, shadowing can all be used independently enhance proficiency learning. Hence, an innovative Corpus-based Critical Listening Shadowing model has been devised aid teaching by providing specific suggestions for teachers students, with expectation that students will perform better once they have taught using methodology. current study’s findings pedagogical methodological implications teaching, learning research. future directions are also discussed.
